Viveka Varsham 2027 is a transformative UPSC Civil Service Foundation Program launched in honour of Swami Vivekananda’s 164th birth anniversary. Organized by the Sanathana Dharma Educational Foundation (SDEF) in association with the Swami Vivekananda Charitable Trust for Cultural and Scientific Research (SVCTCSR), the initiative provides free one-year civil service coaching to 164 deserving students across Kerala.

The program aims to empower underprivileged and motivated students who face financial barriers to quality education. Students from Classes 6 to 12, college students, and other eligible candidates are encouraged to participate in this unique opportunity.

Alongside civil service preparation, students will receive FREE Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) classes for one full year, equipping them with essential technological knowledge and future-ready skills to become informed, capable, and socially responsible citizens.

After completing the 1-year Viveka Varsham course, students who wish to continue their journey towards civil service success have the opportunity to join our advanced programs for further growth:

2-Year Vivekodayam foundation Course:
This program is ideal for those who want to continue with in-depth UPSC preparation. Designed for school students, college students, or working professionals, Vivekodayam offers a more spaced-out schedule, providing ample time for thorough coverage of both Prelims and Mains. With an emphasis on conceptual clarity and an extended focus on optional subjects, this course equips students to excel in the civil services examination.

10-Year Swadhyaya Lifetime Course:
For school students in grades 6-12 looking for a long-term strategy, the Swadhyaya program provides progressive learning over a 10-year period. This unique course integrates basic education with UPSC preparation, fostering leadership qualities, critical thinking, and analytical skills. By the time students are ready for the exam, they will have undergone years of focused preparation, ensuring a higher chance of success.

These advanced programs are designed to support students beyond Viveka Varsham, guiding them step-by-step through their UPSC journey and helping them achieve their dreams.

Classes will be started on January 30th 2027

All our UPSC coaching classes are conducted completely online, providing flexibility and convenience for students from across the country.

Class Schedule: Classes are held on two working days per week, allowing students to balance their academic or work commitments alongside UPSC preparation.

Timing: Each session lasts for 1 hour, with classes scheduled between 6 PM and 9 PM, making it accessible even for working professionals.

Live Classes & Recordings: All sessions are live, ensuring interactive learning. If a student misses a class due to any reason, recordings will be made available so they can catch up at their own pace.

Here are key elements of Swami Vivekananda’s educational philosophy:

• Education for All
  Swami Vivekananda advocated for universal education, especially for the upliftment of the masses, the poor, and the downtrodden. He believed that the future of the nation depends on the education of its people and said: “If the poor boy cannot come to education, education must go to him.”
• Man-Making Education:
  Swami Vivekananda strongly advocated for “man-making education”, which focuses on building character and instilling values like strength, courage, and self-reliance.
  He believed education should develop an individual’s moral and ethical nature along with intellectual capabilities.
• Holistic Development
  Education, according to him, must ensure the physical, mental, intellectual, and spiritual development of individuals. It should not be restricted to bookish knowledge but include the complete growth of the personality.
• Education as a Means of Self-Discovery
  He emphasized that the goal of education is to bring out the inner potential of individuals, referring to it as the “manifestation of the perfection already in man.” He believed every person is inherently divine and education should help reveal this inner divinity.
